Shah Rukh Khan pays Rs 1.93 lakh penalty for illegal ramp outside 'Mannat'
Bollywood genius Shah Rukh Khan, who built an illicit incline outside his luxurious cabin "Mannat" in Mumbai, has paid Rs 1.93 lakh as expense of annihilation to the metropolitan powers, a RTI inquiry has uncovered.
RTI dissident Anil Galgali said he had looked for data from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) about move made on the illicitly developed RCC incline outside the cottage by Shah Rukh. Galgali looked for data about the cost caused and installment got if any.
It was asserted that Shahrukh Khan, whose cottage falls on the intersection of H K Bhabha street and Mount Mary street, close to the Bandra Bandstand had involved the part of area fitting in with misfortune, which should be given over to Municipal company by illicitly building a RCC slope.
Further, the Municipal company had issued an interest notification of Rs 1,93,784 towards cost brought about on the annihilation of the incline, giving 7 days for making the installment or face due activities under the MMC Act. Shah Rukh Khan made the installment vide a check issued on Citibank dated 11/03/2015 adding up to Rs 1,93,784/= to close the issue.
